A. Spray the area to be turfed with a herbicide such as Round-up. Once the existing vegetation has succumbed to the herbicide application, the soil will need to be tilled to a depth of 4-6'' and the existing vegetation will need to be removed. Q. What is the best time of year to install turf on my yard?
A. Unlike seeding, turf installation can be done anytime of year. However the cooler times of year require less attention.
A. Turf installation has many benefits over seeding, here are just a few. Installing turf eliminates the chance of contaminants such as weed seed, prevents erosion, eliminates the chance of heavy rains washing away seeds, reduces risk of mud being tracked into your home and it just looks great. Q. How far ahead do I need to call to place an order?
A. The sooner the better, however most of the time we can have your order delivered within one to two business days. If you prefer to pick up your order, we can usually harvest on demand (weather dependent).
Q. How are delivery charges calculated?
A. Delivery charges are calculated to cover fuel for the truck and fork-lift along with normal wear and tear. No profits are inferred from deliveries.

A. A pallet of grass typically weighs 2000 lbs. Trucks or trailers will be needed to haul 1 or more pallets.

installed turf will require at least 0.5'' per day for a few weeks. Once
the turf roots into its new site, less water will be required.
